On arrival at the Port Blair airport, proceed to the hotel and check in. After freshening up and enjoying a hearty lunch, head out for an excursion to Corbyn’s Cove – a beach with soft sands and coconut trees. Just 8km from the city center, this is the closest beach to Port Blair. From here, you head to the famous Cellular Jail. Popularly known as Kala Pani, this colonial prison housed many prominent Indian activists during India's struggle for independence. In the evening, learn the history of this jail through a mesmerizing light and sound show.
After checking out from the hotel, get ready to set sail as you travel 54 km by sea from Port Blair to Havelock Island. Traveling in the ferry/ship would be an exciting experience for those who haven’t traveled by sea before. Havelock is the most-visited island of all the Andaman Islands. With white sandy beaches, clear waters and green forests, Havelock is a natural treasure that has so much to offer. On reaching the island, head to the resort and complete the check-in formalities. Have a good night’s rest to recharge for the next day.
After freshening up, apply some sunscreen and grab your camera as you head out for your first day on the island. Enjoy a day of leisure at Radhanagar Beach. Also known as Beach Number 7, it was named as Asia’s best beach by Time magazine in 2004. Stretching almost two kilometers, the beach has silvery white sand flanked in by a thick forest. Take a dip in the blue waters or sit on the sand and watch the waves gently lap the shore. After a relaxing day at the beach, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After waking up to another sunny morning, enjoy a yummy breakfast and head out. You’ll be spending another day on a different beach so don’t forget to take a fresh set of clothes and some drinking water. Known for its untouched beauty, Elephant Beach is one of the most popular beaches on the island. Thick green trees line a beach of shimmery white sand. This beach is the ideal spot for water activities including boating and snorkeling. The coral reefs are not too far from the shore and are known for their remarkable vibrancy. In the evening, head back to the hotel.
Spend the morning at leisure and check out of the hotel by 10:00AM. Leave your luggage at the hotel reception and travel by road to Kala Pathar Beach. This beach is relatively untouched and is sprinkled with black rocks. On the way back, get a glimpse of the various resorts and dive centers that line the road. Return to the hotel for lunch and get ready to sail back to Port Blair in the evening. On arrival, check in to the hotel and freshen up. Enjoy an evening of leisure before retiring for the night.
On this day, you check out from the hotel and proceed to the airport. Head home with fond memories of the land of exotic white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.
